About Andrew & Pryde Design

The man behind the brand: Andrew Pryde

I build websites. It sounds so simple when put like that but really I am a designer, developer, content strategist and project manager  all rolled into one. I specialise in providing high quality turn-key web solutions to small and medium businesses that work seemlessly from the outset without any hiccups or headaches. By having one person which fills all these roles not only does the cost of the project stay low but it also means your vision for your site is never neglected on transition between the design and development stages of a project.

"Love" is an over used word however I am extremely passionate about clean minimalistic design which is not just usable but enjoyable to use. I'm also passionate about clean, semantic and search engine friendly code that ensures that your website is well listed on Google and your website loads quickly and efficiently.

My methodology

When I sit down to design and develop a site I have two things in mind. Firstly and most importantly the sites users and secondly the brand identity of the company concerned. This may at first seem a little strange at first but I assure you it makes sense when given a little thought. Your website is made for one thing - imparting information to your users. This is the same whether you are a sports team wanting to keep your fans up to date or an e-commerce business looking to increase sales. The user comes first and in due course you and your company benefit from increased profits and exposure. Everyone wins!

Secondly the brand identity must of course be central to the aesthetic of the site. Your website should tie in nicely with your visual identity fitting with the logo and any other materials which represent your business. You don't have a brand identity? Thats fine, I also provide logo design and branding services which enable you to create a presence not just on the web but in physical media as well including letter heads and business cards.
